It's nice to have friends with the same values...

Conversation with Ainsley:

A: "Mom, do you know what Alli and I both think is dumb?"

Me: "No, what?"

A: "We found out that both of our mom's don't buy kleenex. We both think that is dumb."

I hate kleenex. Here is why: 1. Kleenex boxes are clutter wherever you put them. 2. I don't want to encourage people to blow their noses in my family room. Go somewhere I can't hear you. 3. Toilet paper is conveniently located next to the toilet, where you should dispose of tissue that has bodily fluid on it.

So Cyndi-why don't you buy Kleenex? Allison says you don't. This is a potential blog post for you!

I feel the same way about the Kleenex, although I'm considering getting just one box for my tutoring students. Many have found, "I need a tissue," a great excuse to disappear into the bathroom once every 15 minutes!

Yes, we have noticed that you don't buy Kleenex. Every time we come to your house, Nathan says, "Don't their noses run here in Oregon? Where are the Kleenexes?" Someday we will buy a box and secretly put it in your house and only tell Ainsley where it is. And by the way, toilet paper is for your butt, not your nose!

I don't buy Kleenex either--only Puffs with lotion and aloe for this household. As an allergy sufferer, I must agree with Tennille. TP is not for the nose. I feel sorry for you and the kids during cold season. Your poor raw noses!

Here! here! Andrea. Nothing better than wiping your nose on something soft and moisturizing. But funny, we ran our of Puffs a couple of weeks ago. I just re-bought some today and was stumbling over where exactly I should put it. Perhaps on the top of the toilet because, yeah, I don't wanna hear it either.

Tennille, tell Nathan next time he is here I will have a box of kleenex for him, but I'm putting them in the little cabinet in the downstairs bathroom and he is not allowed to put them anywhere else! Or tell him that, no, noses don't run here in Oregon. It would be another benefit of moving here...:) Love you!
