Lots from Hudson lately
We were looking through Ainsley's book order, I told Ainsley and Hudson that they both could pick out a book. I love kids books, I suggested one about the Solar System that had great pictures, Flat Stanley, and a three pack of books by E.B. White (Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little and The Trumpet Swan). Hudson wanted Captain Underpants, Pokemon, and Sponge Bob. (Thanks so much for these options Scholastic) When I vetoed all of them he said, "But it is fine if you think there is inappropriate stuff in them, I just won't let yooouuuu (lots of emphasis) read them."

Sam loves Spongebob, he has a pair of hand-me-down undies (yes, my kids wear those...) with him on them. BUT, he has NO idea who the guy is. So when we called him Spongebob, he corrected us and told is it was "Cheesebob". He'll be devastated when we realizes that there is no such think as Cheesebob someday. Poor kid.
The laughter never stops in the Pate household, does it?!
What I want to know is how Hudson and Jackson know anything about Pokemon? Second children certainly grow up faster than our innocent first-borns.
I don't understand why scholastic sells that junk.
